We hope you’ve been revelling in summer fun! July was a hive of action with community events, workshops, project visits and volunteering days.

We’re sharing some of our learnings and inspiration from our adventures, as well as some tips we picked up on how to reduce plastic in your home. Also this month, more funding opportunities and how one of our campaigns is beautifying local spaces.

This month we were at Seed Festival bringing together inspiring members of the Semble community. We came together with Seeders and Semblers to spark creative ideas, strengthen existing connections and forge new ones. Here are some of our learnings from around the hay bales.

Hello Beautiful Neighbourhood - transforming a tunnel

Once scary territory for locals, the Cattle Arch in Portslade was cleaned and painted in collaboration with the Friends of Vale Park as part of the Cif Hello Beautiful Neighbourhood Project. Hear how this campaign is supporting locals to beautify rundown community spaces.
